Music & Masks Benefit
The Music & Masks benefit supports The Motor City Lyric Opera’s Opera on Wheels outreach programs.
The 2009 Music & Masks benefit took place on Thursday August 27th, 2009 at The Seligman Performing Arts Center in Beverly Hills, Michigan.
Jack Krasula of WJR’s “Anything Is Possible,” who has passionately endorsed The Motor City Lyric Opera’s vision, was the Honorary Chair. Performances included Sonia Lee, first chair violinist for “The Three Tenors” Tour, and rising star Caitlin Elizabeth Lynch, soprano (who will be singing the role of Donna Anna in Don Giovanni with The Michigan Opera Theater in 2010). Jonathan Lasch, baritone, and The Motor City Lyric Opera Children’s chorus were also featured.
Co-chairs of the 2009 event were Dr. Mary Fisher and Sarah Jackson of Bloomfield Hills and Therese Marie Boyle of Waterford.
